| II. Background | |
|
CD74, CD74 molecule, encodes for a type II integral membrane glycoprotein that acts as an MHC class II chaperone and plays a role in the signal transduction of pathways related to cell survival, proliferation (PMID: 16484589, PMID: 27058619), and the immune system (PMID: 30191677). Overexpression of Cd74 has been observed in gastrointestinal cancer (PMID: 21228923) and hematological cancers (PMID: 30191677), and CD74-ROS1 and CD74-NRG1 fusions have been identified in lung cancer (PMID: 22215748, PMID: 31027745, PMID: 29169524). |
